UI/UX Designer

Your Mission

This position focuses on designing impactful, user-centered digital solutions to drive innovation in manufacturing processes at Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore (HMGICS). By collaborating across cross-functional workstreams, you’ll play a key role in shaping user experiences for data-driven manufacturing, logistics, and assembly solutions.

What To Expect

  • Develop and iterate on prototypes, wireframes, and user flows to test and refine ideas.
  • Create production-ready interfaces for web and mobile applications using best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Leverage tools like PTC ThingWorx and OutSystems to design and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Take ownership as the primary designer within a workstream team, defining design strategies and methodologies that best support team objectives.
  • Stay adaptable and proactive in proposing solutions for complex challenges in manufacturing environments.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant design field (e.g., UX Design, Interaction Design, or similar).
  • At least few years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, UX research, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other modern design tools.
  • Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS) and familiarity with mobile app design principles.
  • Experience working with tools for industrial applications such as PTC ThingWorx or OutSystems is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams, including data scientists.
  • Self-driven and capable of functioning as the sole designer within a team, taking the lead in defining and executing design approaches.
  • Knowledge of design for manufacturing and assembly (DfMA) and/or IoT is a plus
