Specification Management Engineer

Your Mission

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing BOM (Bill of Materials), managing sources for directing manufacturing work (data, regulations, etc.) and application time of EO (Engineering Order).

What To Expect

• Manage application time decided by product specification committee and support composing specifications for sales
• Generate and manage manufacturing BOM (generate module BOM if necessary)
• Manage the application conditions of collar BOM, application time, and collar parts
• Set up manufacturing BOM of subsidiary material (receive usage and specification and set up the serial number and the quantity to be consumed)
• Maintain and manage master data (classify application shop of end item and parts)
• Modifying for BOM data error
• Improvement of manufacturing BOM system
• Check defects of sales order specification and production possibilities
• Create and maintain work-order information
• Generate and manage technical information (VIN information, verification information, legal specification etc.)
• Manage data for production and logistics
• Management of new car project (development schedule, number of test cars etc.)
• Check changed EO (Engineering Order) and Notification to related teams
• Manage EO-CUT and application time of the developed model by each event
• Review problems for components that newly applying
• Confirmation of EPI
• Discuss and decide application time for a change of design, function, quality, regulation, cost reduction etc.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experiences in manufacturing/automotive industry will be beneficial
• Knowledge in vehicle parts and product specifications
• Knowledge in manufacturing, basic automobile mechanisms, BOM system
• Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office/Visual Basic/SAP
• Fluent in English Language (Written & Spoken)
• Fluent in Korean Language (Written & Spoken) to communicate with researchers based in South Korea
