Senior Sensor Electronics Engineer
Your Mission
The Sensor Electronics Engineer (Embedded/Photonics) is responsible for developing innovative industrial sensor and quality inspection technological solutions to optimize quality inspection processes at Hyundai. You will be involved in the research, development, and deployment of the best-suited industrial sensor, embedded, and photonic system strategies for Hyundai. You will collaborate with a talented team of researchers and engineers, contributing your expertise in electronics and embedded system design, build, testing, and analysis to push the boundaries of proposed solutions.
What To Expect
- Lead the design of new industrial sensors for quality inspection, including handheld and wearable electronics, from concept to deployment.
- Define sensing system specifications and architectures for bespoke quality inspection systems (embedded/photonic) to meet factory manufacturing process requirements.
- Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including business owners and researchers, to formulate requirements, design, and test bespoke industrial sensor and quality inspection solutions.
- Lead and manage external collaborators and vendors to scope projects, evaluate system proposals, coordinate work tasks, advise on standards and design, control costs, and review deliverables in a timely manner.
- Guide both software and hardware development teams to ensure the solution meets system requirements.
- Document technical reports, system manuals, and file patents.
