Senior Parts Management Engineer

Your Mission

This position is responsible for calculating and managing daily, weekly, and monthly part requirements, overseeing stock levels, and coordinating the ordering process. The responsibilities extend to handling data on normal, abnormal, and damaged part issues (OS&D), while also addressing and enhancing production parts management issues and leading technicians.

What To Expect

  • Plan part ordering operations to ensure a timely supply of parts.
  • Monitor changes in production planning and communicate updates to suppliers.
  • Manage parts receipt, disbursement, and inventory effectively.
  • Complete goods receipt procedures and conduct monthly inventory analysis.
  • Provide support in managing logistics working operators.
  • Assist in improving supplier logistics and generate reports for executives.
  • Manage logistics costs and standardize freight rates.
  • Perform logistics operations, including planning and site improvement for production support.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a relevant discipline.
  • With at least 4 years of relevant experience (experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred).
  • Knowledge or experience in the automotive industry and logistics processes is advantageous.
  • Certification in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management (SCM) is desirable.
  • Ability to express opinions logically and persuasively to both internal and external stakeholders.
