Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

Your Mission

This position is responsible for driving organizational profitability by leveraging financial planning and analysis expertise, while fostering strong collaboration across leadership and business teams to align financial goals with long-term objectives.

What To Expect

• Design, implement, and maintain financial key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with HMGICS objectives, ensuring accountability across teams and driving performance improvements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, including the leadership team and business units, fostering strong relationships to align financial goals and enhance organizational performance.
• Lead the annual budgeting exercise and manage monthly rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Analyze and explain monthly performance variances, providing clear narratives that highlight operational reasons, trends, and key business drivers to ensure stakeholder understanding.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities across the organization and lead initiatives to optimize resource allocation and mitigate financial risks.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred
• Knowledge of FRS, Singapore accounting standards, and local tax laws
• Finance or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is preferred
• Proficiency in ERP software, preferably SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
