Your Mission
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Robotics Intern (Computer Vision) to join our dynamic Robotics Team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for robotic applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical software development skills.
What To Expect
- Conduct data collection and manage large volumes of 2D/3D images from the existing sensing system.
- Develop, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for robotic perception tasks (e.g., object detection, segmentation, 3D reconstruction, scene understanding).
- Collaborate with the robotics team to integrate computer vision solutions into existing robot systems.
- Perform software development in Python and C++ for algorithm implementation and system integration.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate optimized solutions into the existing pipeline.
- Document findings and present results to the team.
What You'll Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Computer), Mechatronics or Computer Science.
- Solid mathematical background with a strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and optimization.
- Fundamental understanding of computer vision concepts including image processing, feature extraction, geometric vision, and multi-view geometry.
- Proficiency in software development with Python and C++.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
