Quality Control Technician (Module Quality)
Your Mission
This position is responsible for managing the quality control of parts, modules, and sub-components, while also driving initiatives to improve overall vehicle quality, including conducting 3D measurements.
What To Expect
- Perform inspections based on the inspection cycle of each part category
- Identify defects during warehouse inspections of raw materials and components sourced externally, as well as manage defects arising from the assembly line
- Handle claims related to supplier issues, manage correction costs and line suspension costs due to supplier errors
- Drive initiatives to reduce the cost of main vehicle materials
- Inspect, analyze, and implement improvement measures for modules and sub-components
- Monitor and enhance quality throughout the module assembly process
- Collaborate on analysis of finished vehicle quality issues, formulate improvement plans, and assess their effectiveness
- Verify and improve the compliance of the module assembly process quality system
- Conduct 3D measurements of modules and sub-components, and provide detailed analysis
What You'll Bring
- 3 to 6 years of experience in quality control
- Experience in the automotive industry would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of quality systems, inspection, and production processes
- Experience in 3D measurement and equipment management
- Proficiency in MS Office and Quality Tools
