Public Relations Specialist
Your Mission
This position is responsible for managing/operating PR activites such as digital channels, internal/external communications, insight monitoring in collaboration with internal/external stakeholders. The objective is to enhance corporate and brand awareness, and strengthen the overall reputation of HMGICS.
What To Expect
- Manage and maintain the HMGICS corporate website, including content planning, regular updates, and coordination with internal teams to ensure accuracy, relevance, and user engagement.
- Manage and respond to PR-related inquiries and FAQs submitted through the corporate website, in coordination with relevant internal teams to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Plan and execute LinkedIn content, including managing the editorial calendar, publishing posts, and developing content amplification strategies to grow reach and engagement.
- Create and distribute internal communications content, such as company news updates, newsletters, and announcements to keep employees informed and aligned.
- Support cross-functional PR planning by regularly tracking team events and activities and integrating them into broader PR strategies and calendars.
- Coordinate VIP visits from the internal/external front, managing end-to-end operations such as scheduling, visitor communications, commemorative content (e.g. digital albums), and pre/post-visit reporting.
- Monitor and report on news, including industry trends, competitor activities, and government policy updates, to support PR-related strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and key stakeholders on PR activities and external developments.
- Own and operate the integrated PR calendar, ensuring clear visibility and alignment across all communications activities.
- Support a variety of corporate and brand PR initiatives, including media content development, media event coordination,internal events, and employee engagement efforts.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant disciplines
- 1–4 years of experience in PR, Communications, Marketing, or Digital Channels (in-house or agency) in Singapore
- Work experience with knowledge of Automotive, Tech, IT, FMCG, or Manufacturing sectors preferred (both B2C and B2B) in Singapore
- Understanding of the Singapore market and landscape (media, social media, KOLs/social influencers, customers)
- Experienced and capable in PR, marketing, digital channels (website/social), and internal/external communications
- Experience in handling PR and marketing communications for both corporate and consumer brands
- Skilled in creating and managing PR activities and content (experience in PR, marketing, digital channel management, internal communications, or insight monitoring is preferred)
- Experience in promoting and managing the corporate/brand story through internal and external channels
- A strong team player and individual contributor, able to work effectively with the team and cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented and thoughtful in managing tasks, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals
- A diligent and proactive professional who not only executes tasks reliably, but also takes initiative to propose new ideas
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering reports and presentations
