Project Manager, DevOps
Your Mission
This position will be responsible for driving strategic direction and operational excellence for our Software Defined Factory (SDF). The incumbent will focus on streamlining our AWS/PTC infrastructure and improving the DevOps pipeline through automation.
What To Expect
[Project Leadership]
- Define and execute roadmap for the Edge/Cloud infrastructure transformation
- Coordinate cross-functional team, monitor project performance and report progress.
- Champion Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
- Build collaborative partnerships with Software Architects, Technical Leads, Product Owners, Product Managers, and Experience Designers
[Technical Edge Platform and DevOps]
- Lead medium scale migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption while optimizing performance, security, and cost.
- Establish and refine DevOps best practices, tools, and frameworks to enhance developer experience, agility, and efficiency.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies to accelerate software delivery.
- Drive continuous improvements in cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Manage relationship with key technology vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure optimal utilisation and cost efficiency.
- Review industry trends, with continious evaluation of cutting edge technologies to improve developer reliablity and efficiency.
- Experience in leading an enterprise scale edge and DevOps transformation
- Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure, application deployment, and operations within the IoT Platform

- Regularly communicate with team members, provide performance feedback, and conduct evaluations
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and related domains, with a strong background in manufacturing plant environments.
- Experience in PTC Kepware and Thingworx and use into GitLab/Hub as a CI/CD pipeline and experience with global releases in Git.
- Extensive hands-on expertise in tools such as OpenStack VM, VMware, Red Hat OSV and CAAS infrastructure.
- Experience in creation and managing CAAS i.e hosts, deploys, and scales containers and applications through APIs, virtualization, or portals.
- Deep experience, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains.
- Strong expertise in database high availability technologies, including PostgreSQL, Influx DB and other databases including migration, and modernization from legacy systems to cloud-native environments.
- Performance monitoring and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, Containers, and Cloud-Native architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive large-scale transformation projects in complex enterprise environments.
