Process Innovation Consultant, Quality

Your Mission

HMGICS serves as our core manufacturing testbed, focused on creating a cutting-edge, software-defined factory for autonomous and flexible production of future mobility solutions. Within the Technology Innovation Group, the Software & Data Engineering Team develops intelligent systems and environments (IoT, MLOps, Visualization, and Simulations) to enhance productivity, quality, logistics, and manufacturing. 

 

This position is responsible for the development of HMGICS's Technology Roadmap and maintain its ecosystem of innovation and technology partners. He/She will develop the structure for monitoring performance of various factory processes, identify pain points to be resolved with technology pilots, and leverage data-drive approach to drive continuous improvement.

What To Expect

Development of Technology Roadmap
• Support the planning & implementation of technology roadmap in collaboration with factory stakeholders
• Design, develop, and maintain digital transformation use cases and technology catalogue
• Design, develop, and maintain ecosystem of technology and innovation partners, in collaboration with HMG stakeholders

 

Work Processes Management, Pain Points Identification
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Drive digitization of QMS processes (e.g., non-conformance handling, CAPA, audits, documentation)
• Define methodology and detailed work processes to continually measure performance and project ROI 
• Engage with relevant stakeholders in manufacturing group to gather data and develop insights on critical pain points
• Perform data analysis to identify operational bottlenecks and system impediments
• Develop and redesign workflows, procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.

 

Technology Solution Deployment and Change Management
• Leverage data analysis and facilitate brainstorming workshops to develop practical and sustainable solutions
• Champion the use of digital tools for real-time monitoring, predictive quality, and risk management.
• Support implementation and integration of digital platforms such as EQMS, LIMS, SPC systems, etc.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous innovation
• Provide project management support with operation teams to implement solutions
• Monitor performance improvements post-deployment and ensure smooth handover to production team
• Lead change initiatives by working closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
• At least 3-5 years (Junior)/ 5-10 years (Senior) of experience in Manufacturing/ Management Consulting / Business Process Re-engineering / ICT Consulting/ Process Innovation/ Business/ System Consulting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Technical skills in process innovation consulting projects, IT/OT System development project
• Working experience in manufacturing or deep understanding in manufacturing industry 
• Technical skills in data analysis or Business Intelligence implementation
• Solid understanding of quality standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, IATF 16949)
• Experience with digital quality systems (EQMS, SPC software, data dashboards, etc.).
• Experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma is a plus 
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• PMP certification is preferred
