Process Engineer
Your Mission
This position will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing cell manufacturing processes by leveraging production data to improve efficiency, workflow, and resource utilization.
What To Expect
- Extract, collect, and collate appropriate, useful, and necessary cell manufacturing process data.
- Analyze cell manufacturing process data to identify imbalances in the manufacturing process (e.g., workload, runtime, deviations among production workers and processes).
- Optimize workflows and processes to minimize the need for additional assistance and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain and manage a master problem list for production, and derive meaningful insights from it (e.g., machine reliability, capacity).
- Understand key production indicators and consult with relevant departments to ensure required data is captured from the system.
- Support the development of manufacturing dashboards and operational reports by leveraging data from the data warehouse.
- Optimize the production schedule in response to CTO (Configure to Order) and BTO (Build to Order) manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain optimal headcount by streamlining material placement, workflow, and work schedules.
- Optimize material picking and supply processes to minimize the number of supply channels.
- Collaborate with related departments to gather input and ensure a shared understanding.
- Establish recurrence prevention measures for identified issues.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical)
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, including operating and innovating cell manufacturing processes, analyzing related data, etc.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience in applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies in manufacturing processes
- Technical skills in examining manufacturing techniques and conducting Design Process Analysis (DPA) using AutoCAD, CATIA
- Technical skills in analyzing data on workability, workload, lead time, and proficiency records
- Understanding of manufacturing process optimization and Lean concepts
