Process Automation Engineer
Your Mission
This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining automation processes and equipment to ensure a smooth production flow. Additionally, this position is responsible for troubleshooting automation control system issues, particularly in response to new model production and the integration of new manufacturing technologies.
What To Expect
- Responsible for production control systems, working with PLCs or PC-based controllers.
- Interface with other control and management systems, such as MES, AGV/AMR systems, and smart logistics systems.
- Manage manufacturing processes, including process optimization and cycle time reduction.
- Troubleshoot and monitor PLC program errors to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
- Conduct online monitoring, simulation, and testing of new models and parts using PLC programs.
- Modify PLC programs and HMI layouts under the instruction of the Engineer.
- Manage automation equipment data and monitor functional conditions in real-time.
- Develop and install machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in developing and applying software algorithms and frameworks using robots and automation equipment (Servo/Siemens PLC).
- Experience in operating manufacturing processes involving automated manufacturing equipment.
- Technical skills in analyzing manufacturing techniques and understanding manufacturing process optimization.
- Technical expertise in developing and applying automation techniques using robotics, Siemens PLC (TIA Portal), vision systems, automation design, and software programming.
