Logistics Systems Engineer
Your Mission
This position is responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise software systems (ERP, WMS, Middleware) to support manufacturing operations. It involves system customization, security, troubleshooting, and process improvements using Lean principles and automation tools.
What To Expect
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise software systems (ERP, WMS, Middleware).
- Configure and customize systems to meet business needs, with experience in scripting (Python, C#, PowerShell) and APIs.
- Ensure system security, user permissions, and data protection.
- Manage system integrations, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize material flow, resource management, and scheduling in manufacturing.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) to improve process efficiency.
- Utilize industrial automation tools (PLC, SCADA) for production monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance/Control standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Analyze data to drive process improvements using tools such as Excel or Minitab.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications or experience in system administration, manufacturing process improvement, or data analysis are a plus.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Expertise in system administration and database management (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot production and system issues.
- Experience with problem-solving tools (Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, FMEA).
- Ability to analyze logs, reports, and data to assess system health.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for training and supporting end users.
