Head of Human Resources
Your Mission
This position is responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR functions, driving organizational effectiveness, and supporting business growth. The role involves developing and executing HR strategies, policies, and programs that foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture for our smart factory in Singapore, with a focus on manufacturing R&D.
What To Expect
[HR Strategy & Leadership]
- Define and implement HR strategies, policies, and frameworks aligned with organizational goals, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Advise and actively engage with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
- Manage ad-hoc HR matters and make decisions in collaboration with HQ HR Division and the HR Coordinator based in Singapore.
[People & Organizational Development]
- Oversee organizational structure, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management, and culture initiatives.
- Lead learning and development programs to strengthen workforce capabilities.
- Manage initiatives for employee recognition, well-being, and retention.
[HR Business Partnering & Operations]
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and compliance matters.
- Oversee HR information systems, data reporting, and policy documentation.
- Establish and manage compensation structures, salary reviews, and incentive programs.
- Ensure efficient onboarding, offboarding, and internal mobility processes.
- Supervise payroll, employee benefits and insurance.
[Talent Acquisition]
- Lead the talent acquisition strategy and ensure effective hiring processes.
- Strengthen employer branding and oversee recruitment campaigns, including career fairs and academic partnerships.
- Partner with leadership to forecast workforce needs and implement talent pipelines.
[Development & Internalization of Global HR Policies]
- Manage international assignments and related mobility policies.
- Localize HR policies to align with local laws and practices.
- Communicate and train leadership/employees on policy awareness and compliance.
- Drive adoption through change management and cultural integration.
- Act as a bridge between HQ and subsidiary, providing feedback on policy gaps.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in multinational organizations.
- Strong knowledge of HR strategy, Singapore labor laws, compensation, and organizational development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead across multiple HR functions and engage senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of diversity and an inclusive mindset.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HRIS systems will be beneficial.
- HR experience in IT, manufacturing, or finance companies.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and software-defined factory.
- Collaborative attitude or experiences with foreign coordinators.
