Hardware Engineer (Robotics)

Your Mission

This position will be responsible for managing and monitoring Robotic Arm Systems on HMGICS's production floor while integrating robotics-based manufacturing technology to adapt to evolving manufacturing techniques.

What To Expect

  • Develop manufacturing technique documents / standard operation procedure / robot program 
  • modification plan, in response to changes in cell automation assembly process and manufacturing

  • Allocate work schedule and calculate cycle time by each manufacturing process
  • Plan schedules of teaching/handling tasks, manage applied robot equipment and changes in 
  • manufacturing techniques
  • Simulate and manage mass production for manufacturing new models (Cyber-Physical System production pre-verification)
  • Devise and develop automotive manufacturing techniques based on advanced robotics technology
  • Examine efficient operation schemes of manufacturing process in relation to machine learning
  • Program and teach robots in response to automation using additional functions (robot position 
  • correction, etc
  • Analyze robot related data and manufacturing processes, examining automation structure and workload, to further improve production line balancing
  • Provide predictive maintenance information by monitoring status of robots
  • Update and manage modification records of hardware, software, and system parameters, including identification for various production models

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science) or related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Industrial Robotics Automation
  • Experience in industrial and collaborative robots (Kawasaki, Doosan, KUKA, UR)
  • Experience in Vision Systems (2D and 3D)
  • Basic understanding in automation equipment such as servo drives (Siemens)
  • Basic understanding in pnematic systems, such as solenoid/electronic valves and cylinders (SMC, Festo)
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and data analysis for automation manufacturing equipment                            
  • Technical skills in examining manufacturing technique and conducting Digital Process Analysis using AutoCad, CATIA
  • Technical skills in developing and applying automation manufacturing technique by using robot, PLC, vision, automation design, software program
  • Understanding in manufacturing process optimization
