General Procurement Specialist

Your Mission

This position is responsible for purchasing manufacturing materials/facility in a timely manner and devising/executing purchasing strategy to reduce unit cost and ensure profitability.

What To Expect

• Decide on equipment/facility supplier and total price (due date management)
• Develop and purchase raw/subsidiary materials necessary for vehicle manufacturing
• Purchase general materials for the organization
• Devise and execute integrated buying strategy
• Devise and execute cost reduction plan and negotiate cost of materials
• Collect information about laws and policies related to procurement and apply information to parts purchasing strategy
• Work with parts development and customs clearance members within the procurement organization

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, International Trade or related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement
• Experience in the automotive industry or parts supplier will be beneficial
• Knowledge of international trade
• Strong communication skills
