Electrical Maintenance Technician
Your Mission
This position is responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance for HMGICS’ smart factory, as well as managing and supervising contractors to ensure preventive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and according to standards.
What To Expect
- Perform daily patrols to identify and rectify equipment abnormalities.
- Discuss and plan detailed maintenance tasks with engineers and contractors.
- Manage and supervise contractors during preventive maintenance activities.
- Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as equipment breakdowns, accidents, or fires.
- Execute planned maintenance activities to achieve target equipment and line downtime ratios.
- Ensure maintenance responsibilities are fulfilled reliably and consistently.
- Follow instructions from superiors at all stages (initial, interim, and final).
- Prepare work reports and conduct proper handovers to the next shift.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Implement improvement projects to enhance maintenance operations.
- Be ready to work on rotating day and night shifts, including overtime, early shifts, urgent night or weekend work, and during holidays, as required by the company or supervisor.
What You'll Bring
- Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in machine maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment (preferred).
- 5 to 10 years of experience working with electrical manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, IFM, SICK, and Omron.
- 5 to 10 years of experience with automation equipment from Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
- 5 to 10 years of experience with pneumatic systems from SMC and FESTO.
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, pneumatics, and automation.
- Possession of a driver’s license and relevant equipment-related certifications (considered a bonus).
- Proficiency in IT tools including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and EPLAN (electrical schematic software).
