Digital Transformation Intern
Your Mission
As a Digital Transformation Intern (Mobile Robot), you will develop software applications and design monitoring dashboards within an automotive manufacturing environment that utilizes mobile robots. You will gain hands-on experience across the full product development lifecycle, working in a unique production testbed environment that integrates customer experience, manufacturing, and technology innovation. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, you will learn from multiple disciplines and have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to solution development and deployment across Hyundai Motor Group’s global factories.
What To Expect
General Requirements:
- Contribute to various aspects of the project, including collecting problem statements, process mapping, data analysis, coding, user testing, and preparing presentations.
- Conduct live testing and operation of fleet management software during car production processes.
Technical Requirements:
- Design and develop user interfaces for mobile robot control systems, monitoring and analytics dashboards with tools like PTC Kepware and PTC Thingworx.
- Develop and enhance robot management software, including data manipulation, task scheduling, mobile robot path planning, and PLC control.
- Develop middleware and backend services by using JavaScript and SQL.
- Build REST API services to enable data flow from one application to another.
- Work along other team members to review and design database structures to support software applications.
What You'll Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
- Hands-on experience or prior exposure to C#, NET Framework, and SQL for application development, with a focus on writing scalable code.
- Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
- Proficient in at least two basic programming language (e.g. C#, C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Go).
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Prior experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiar with Windows, UNIX operating systems and scripting is a plus.
