Cloud Platform Engineer
Your Mission
This position is responsible for the administration, automation, and optimization of AWS infrastructure and services, with ownership of AWS resource provisioning, security, networking, monitoring, and performance tuning across multiple environments, including Development, UAT, and Production.
What To Expect

Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).

Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Monitor infrastructure and application performance using AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, and custom metrics pipelines.

Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure automation.

Troubleshoot cloud-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Support and maintain cloud-native logging and monitoring solutions (e.g., ELK/EFK stack, AWS CloudTrail, Fluentd).

Maintain comprehensive documentation for environments, architecture, and standard operating procedures.

Stay up to date with AWS service releases and emerging best practices to continuously improve infrastructure.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.

Proven experience in provisioning, configuring, and operating AWS services and tools.

Strong expertise in Linux system administration (Amazon Linux, Ubuntu) and scripting (Bash, Python).

Solid understanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, NAT Gateway, and Transit Gateway.

Hands-on experience with containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, EKS, or Fargate.

Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CLI, Boto3, or Pulumi.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK/EFK stack.

AWS certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator.
