Your Mission

This position is responsible for planning and developing emerging businesses for HMGICS and Hyundai Motor Group, transforming concepts into reality.

What To Expect

[New Business Development]

  • Support the execution of Hyundai Motor Group’s new business initiatives at the site level, acting as a local coordinator for PoCs (Proof of Concepts), pilot projects, and validation activities with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop business concepts, value propositions, and business models for HMGICS-led new businesses.
  • Assess commercial viability, including revenue potential, cost structures, and scalability of new business ideas.
  • Drive PoC-to-business conversion by defining next-step roadmaps, commercialization scenarios, and partnership requirements.
  • Coordinate with HQ and affiliates to align new business directions and secure internal buy-in.

 

[Business Planning]

  • Analyze and effectively respond to diverse requests from senior management.
  • Conduct continuous market research and competitor analysis, generating in-depth reports.
  • Develop accurate mid to long-term volume forecasts based on market environment analysis.
  • Support the launch of new vehicle models and mobility services, contributing to business expansion.
  • Contribute to sales growth through the development and execution of various strategies and promotions.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Global Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in New Business Development, Business Planning, or related roles preferred. 
  • Experience with hydrogen projects or success in government bids is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the hydrogen industry and/or mobility business projects would be advantageous.
  • Strong strategic thinking, business development, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with relevant stakeholders, with effective time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills (market research, data analysis, and financial feasibility), problem-solving skills, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
