Business Planning Specialist

Your Mission

This position is responsible for planning and developing emerging businesses and technologies for HMGICS and Hyundai Motor Group by working with local government and industry partners.

What To Expect

[New Business Development]

• Facilitate collaboration between Hyundai Motor Group’s emerging businesses and technologies and Singapore government agencies and corporate partners.

• Ensure smooth communication and coordination with HQ, affiliates, government agencies, and research institutions to secure new business success.

• Manage overall timelines for new business projects and ensure key milestones are achieved.

• Go beyond simple PoC (Proof of Concept) initiatives to identify and develop future revenue streams for HMGICS.

• Conduct thorough market analysis to understand trends and uncover new business opportunities.

[Business Planning]

• Analyzed and effectively responded to diverse requests from senior management.

• Conducted continuous market research and competitor analysis, generating in-depth reports.

• Developed accurate mid- to long-term volume forecasts based on market environment analysis.

• Supported the launch of new vehicle models and mobility services, contributing to business expansion.

• Contributed to sales growth through the development and execution of various strategies and promotions.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Global Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in new business development, business planning, or related roles preferred.

• Proven experience in government project execution, including securing official approvals and permits.

• Experience with hydrogen projects or success in government bids is a plus.

• Strong strategic thinking, business development, and project management skills.

• Strong communication skills with relevant stakeholders, with effective time management abilities.

• Previous experience in the hydrogen industry and/or mobility business projects would be advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills (market research, data analysis, and financial feasibility), problem-solving skills, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

• Demonstrated ability to execute tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
