Associate Repair Engineer

Your Mission

This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems and components. As an Assistant Repair Engineer, you will support the Repair Engineer and Cell Leader in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of vehicles, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing high-quality repair solutions.

What To Expect

Diagnosis, Troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis

  • Perform diagnostics on a variety of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components, to support the Repair and Assembly teams.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues and provide accurate repair assessments.
  • Conduct root cause analysis with the Assembly team on frequently occurring defects.

 

Conduct and Coordinate Training

  • Carry out repairs and provide training on electrical systems, trim, bodywork, paintwork, etc.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with company guidelines and safety standards.

 

Quality Assurance

  • Verify the effectiveness of repairs and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
  • Perform post-repair testing to ensure full functionality and resolve any remaining issues.

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair, diagnostic troubleshooting, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including suspension, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
  • Knowledge of bodywork and paintwork is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and repair manuals.
