Assistant Supervisor

Your Mission

This position is responsible for supporting the Supervisor in leading a team of production workers, ensuring efficient and safe operations, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production targets. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that production runs smoothly and safely.

What To Expect

Team Leadership and Supervision

• Supervise and lead a team of technicians and other production staff to achieve production goals.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills, performance, and productivity.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure effective work practices.

Quality Control and EHS

• Ensure that production processes meet quality standards and take corrective action when necessary to address defects or deviations.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure that workers comply with all health and safety guidelines.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to equipment, processes, or personnel.
• Maintain an active presence on the shop floor to monitor operations and address issues as they arise.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement best practices, new technologies, and system upgrades.

What You'll Bring

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are a plus
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
