Assembly Technician

Business Unit:  Chief Innovation Office
Division:  Manufacturing Innovation Group
Department:  Production Team

Your Mission

This position will be responsible for supporting assembly/module/repair line operations. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to production goal achievement and productivity optimization, by meeting standards in both cost and quality.

What To Expect

  • Support/Perform vehicle assembly/module/repair tasks
  • Participate in improvement activities, prepare vehicle assembly/test performance metrics and maintain visual management boards
  • Carry out routine maintenance checks and preventative maintenance programs
  • Analyze the state of production and oversees the production flow of assigned section
  • Work with Management, Engineers and Technicians on solving operational problems
  • Work in accordance with Health and Safety (M13), Environment and Fire Protection regulations

What You'll Bring

  • ITE/Diploma Certificate in Engineering/ Quality Management or related discipline
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in production will be preferred
  • Experience in the automotive industry will be beneficial
  • Knowledge in automotive production and assembly lines will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or paint process in an automotive factory will be beneficial
  • Proficiency in MS Office will be beneficial
