Quality Control Engineer

Your Mission

As a Finished Vehicle Quality Control Engineer, your primary responsibility is to plan and coordinate the overall quality management process, ensuring that finished vehicles meet established quality standards. This role involves identifying the causes of problems in finished vehicles, determining the responsible departments, and verifying the effectiveness of countermeasures.

What To Expect

  • Devise and direct the quality control plan for automotive products using ICT technology.
  • Monitor the conforming rate of outgoing PDI and lead prompt improvements for major issues.
  • Improve completed vehicles by addressing:
    • Interior/exterior quality
    • Functional issues
    • Noise and leakage problems
    • Driving evaluation concerns
  • Monitor quality objectives for new car development (T/LP2/M).
  • Collect and share issues and improvement plans from each pilot process.
  • Supervise overall quality assurance of finished vehicle inspections.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans using Quality Complete System result data.
  • Conduct vehicle customer audits and process audits.
  • Manage PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) process, including vehicle handling, material stock control, and inspection oversight.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Over 3 years of experience as a quality control/assurance engineer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, inspection, and/or production processes in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Proficient in computer skills such as MS Office, Quality Tools, and SPC Basics.
